Advertising Consultants (Sales Team, Innisfail) - Kim Skinner

Senior Advertising Consultant, Kim has been a member of Radio 4KZ and Kool FM's advertising sales team since June 2000. Kim has worked in the world of marketing for over 25 years and still really enjoys helping her clients promote their businesses products and services.

Kim and her husband owned and operated a small business for numerous years which she feels has benefited her radio advertising sales position.

It has given her a better understanding of the issues small business owners face on a day to day basis and also the necessity of cost effective advertising. Kim spends quite a bit of time on the road – servicing advertisers in Mission Beach, Tully and Innisfail. She finds it very rewarding when her clients report on their success with Radio advertising and often her clients are amazed with the areas they get customers and enquiries from.

This is expected as Radio 4KZ and Kool FM has a massive coverage area, from Cairns to Townsville, Normanton and Karumba in the Golden Gulf and several towns on the Atherton Tablelands.

Advertising Consultants (Sales Team, Cardwell and Ingham) - Deb Anderson

I am the Sales Consultant for Innisfail, Cardwell and Ingham.

I have over 30 years of Retail experience with the last 7 of those spent Managing a Corporate Post Office. I have extensive knowledge in business operations and customer service, and in providing the best possible outcome for my clients. There are no problems, only solutions we haven’t discovered yet…

I am a true local, living in the Far North my whole life with family in Innisfail, Ingham, Tully and Cairns. I am down to earth, easy to talk too and I love nothing better than sitting around our firepit at home discussing where we are going to head out camping next.

My husband is a small business owner, and knowing the battles that he has to contend with in regard to staffing, budgets, juggling busy and quiet times and long hours also gives me the knowledge, of not just big business, which is where my the majority of skills comes from, but also the workings of the small business day to day – they are important in looking after, making sure our townships keep ticking, because small business is the life-blood of our towns.

I am a volunteer for the Pyjama Foundation. As a Pyjama Angel I mentor a child in foster care – this is something near and dear to my heart, and something I have been doing for the last 3-4 years, which I find extremely rewarding and fulfilling.
